Mastic, NY Mastic, NY Full-time Full-time $78,000 - $80,000 a year $78,000 - $80,000 a year SUMMARY Family Service League is seeking a full-time Program Director to provide clinical and administrative oversite to an interdisciplinary team which will provide clinical services to adolescents and adults who are newly experiencing the onset of psychosis and who may also be experiencing other behavioral health disorders.
This position has a hybrid schedule of on site (clinic-based) and field work, as well as in person and telehealth services.
Staff will receive expert training and technical assistance in a structured, empirically supported model of assessment and treatment (OnTrack NY, through the Center for Practice Innovations at Columbia Psychiatry and New York State Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene).
RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and conducting supervisions and performance appraisals.
Provide clinical and administrative oversight to the interdisciplinary team that includes Master's level clinicians, certified peers, registered nurses and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
Facilitate the provision of screening, assessment and ongoing clinical interventions using a solution focused and multicultural perspective to adolescents and adults with psychosis and the full range of DSM diagnoses.
Facilitate eligibility screening for young people referred to the OnTrack NY program and facilitate referral and linkage to people who are ineligible for services or more appropriate for other levels of care.
Ensure 24/7 on call coverage for individuals served.
Ensure completion of all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record, including progress notes, intake assessments, care coordination, discharge planning, and treatment plans.
Coordinate and connect to participants' families and community resources.
Lead routine supervision/team meetings.
Understand and demonstrate a commitment to Performance Quality Insurance (PQI) and accreditation with the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA).
Provide additional support/services to the clinic proper, as needed.
Complete trainings and maintain proficiency with de-escalation skills.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree required.
LMSW, LMHC, LMFT or related licensed clinical degree required; LCSW preferred.
At least 5 years clinical experience in a behavioral health setting required; clinic experience preferred.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to problem solve, make clear decisions and work as part of a team.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records required.
Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Valid and clean NYS Driver's License required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
